UNEXPECTED RESULTS FROM A RECENT RECORDING SESSION!
On the recent May bank holiday weekend a recording session took place at The Shack in Hanningfield, Essex, which reunited Rick McKay with Mark Jacobs, lead guitarist in his band from back in the 90's. Although the two have kept in touch, apart from a few gigs here and there, it was the first time they had worked together since 1997. Rick also called on the bass playing talents of Harley Dave, from his days with "Doggone Country Band" (aka: Doggone Honkabilly Band) What started out as a bit of fun with no formal plan, very quickly turned into a memorable session, producing enough material to fill half an album. Further sessions have now been booked to complete a full album, and there's even talk of putting together a few live shows. Keep checking in for further info...
